Sasha Zambetti runs the kitchens from start to finish. Having qualified as a chef from Prue Leith College of Food and Wine in 2000, she worked in various lines of catering, from hotels and restaurants to private dinners, finally finding her place in food media.

In 2003 Sasha was appointed as the food editor of Your Family Magazine, in 2006 she was then approached to head up Avokado/Avocado Magazine as editor, a position she held until the birth of her first son. Whereafter, in 2011, she moved to a half-day job as helpline co-ordinator at The Star's Angela Day Column.

During her tenure at Avocako/Avokado Magazine she hosted her first of 3 TV cookery shows, this one for DTSV's Home Channel called In my Kitchen. Sasha hosted a second season of In My Kitchen whilst at Angela Day, and then in 2014 hosted a program called No-one Cooks Like Mama, highlighting South African celebrity's favourite childhood foods which the celeb then cooked alongside Sasha.

With all this diverse foodie experience under her belt, and a gregarious, bubbly personality to match, Sasha Zambetti is the perfect host for all cooking classes at The Cooking School in Johannesburg.
